Speech Language Pathology Assistant (Marlen Murillo)

Marlen Murillo is the oldest of six younger brothers. Growing up she always wanted to be a teacher. She enrolled in school to pursue an Early education degree, in the meanwhile, she was working as a Teacher Assistant, Kindergarten teacher, and paraprofessional. In various settings, private schools, charter schools, daycare, and self-contained classrooms. During this time she came across Speech, Marlen fell in love with the idea of helping children find a voice. Marlen graduated from Estrella Mountain and her journey began as a Speech Therapist Assistant. She loves working with children and It is her absolute passion to see the kiddos progress and succeed. She enjoys working with all ages ranging from 21 months to young adults, she has serviced kiddos on the autism spectrum, down syndrome, and general education in school environments, clinic base, and home settings, and she enjoys working with them all.  “Let there be speech on earth and let it begin with me” this is her motto and Victory Marlen looks forward to being able to help Victory kiddos find their voices.
