Speech Language Pathology Assistant (Sierra Pancho)

Sierra Pancho is a Speech Language Pathology Assistant, originally from Washington state.
Growing up, she was always drawn to work with children in a school setting. It wasn’t until she began working as a special needs paraprofessional, that she discovered an interest in speech therapy.

Now living in Arizona, Sierra works with a variety of school age, special needs students. She primarily services those on the autism spectrum, and students that are medically fragile. She spends most of her time in self-contained classrooms, to establish functional communication in everyday routines. If she were to pick a current favorite area of therapy, it would be helping children who qualify for Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). Sierra  is passionate about helping children discover their voice-one they can take out into the world and communicate with, just like anyone else.

While working in the field of speech therapy, Sierra continues to purse a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders, at Northern Arizona University. She will eventually become an SLP.

Sierra is excited to be a part of the team at Victory Autism Academy. She believes wholeheartedly that the voices of the children at Victory deserve to, and will be heard.
