Special Education Teacher  (Stephanie McWhorter)

Stephanie has a true passion for the Autism community that began in 2001. She has taught and cared for children with ASD in a variety of settings which include in-home Habilitation and Respite services, at public, private and charter schools, serving in the special needs ministry at her church, and coaching camps for children with exceptional needs. She attended Glendale Community College and ASU-West for Elementary Ed and Special Ed.

 

She is an Arizona native and has two children. Stephanie enjoys activities that include kayaking, biking, hiking, camping, road trips, days spent at the beach,  in the mountains, and volunteering.
