Nick Schuerman

Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Schuerman has his BA in K-8 elementary education with a MA in School Leadership and Administration.  He has taught for nine years in the district setting and has been a highly successful “turnaround principal” in both the Charter and District sectors.  Mr. Schuerman most recently founded Victory Collegiate Academy, a K-8 Public Charter School, providing a whole child education for underserved students in the Maryvale community.

Mr. Schuerman has always had a passion for special education students and has been a lobbyist for years in his respective districts, which eventually led him to housing the district’s only autism program in his school.  Making his rounds and visiting his autism classrooms were the highlight of his daily routines.

Mr. Schuerman’s driving force and motivation for starting an autism school is his High Functioning, ASD son, Conner.  “Some districts and charters do a good job with the resources they have to provide what they can for students on the spectrum but that’s not always good enough for a lot of ASD students”, Schuerman says.

Mr. Schuerman’s successful educational background, paired with his professional and personal experience with children on the spectrum, make Victory Autism Academy an intriguing and exciting private school of choice for children on the spectrum.
